This was my first visit. For starters, the salad bar had a tremendous amount of options. Everything was fresh and hot. The highlight of the meal was the thick-cut sirloin. It was cooked perfectly with tenderness of a fillet. The flavor was amazing rivaling any other steak I've had. I was extremely satisfied with my meal and will stop again on the next trip through town. Kudos to you Maverick. Job very well done!

It was a gamble as my friend and I usually eat elsewhere in Litchfield but I prodded him to try it.
Instead of getting the steak I had been planning, I went with the buffet as it looked very well maintained and offered a variety of items.
I enjoyed it and the service was spot on. Clean atmosphere and it was a great dining experience.
I try to sample as many things as I can but the one item that makes or breaks it is the fried chicken - and let me tell you, it was excellent!!
Of course, I had a little of the other items, including a stuffed pepper, but the fried chicken was very good.
And the salad was satisfying, along with a number of cooked vegetables.
For a dining experience that won't break the bank, is in a very well kept restaurant, with more than enough staff to address your needs, you won't go wrong at this Maverick.
